Buying Baby Phat Clothing
Hip hop music artists who started out in the 80's greatly influenced and made popular urban dressing by the style they call hip-hop. Music artists in their music videos wore clothes that were baggy and seemingly of a different kind compared to what is normally used. But through the years, urban dressing has evolved and now we see apparel that is chic, comfortable and street smart to the liking of a lot of people. This genre in clothing has made demand rise as when this first had its debut in the fashion industry.
We can see a lot of brands from different companies that has made a mark in the clothing world. Brand names such a Evisu, Baby Phat, Sean John, Rocawear, and Mark Ecko among others. Popularized in this type of clothing from these manufacturers are sweatshirts, jackets, hooded sweatshirts, and the most popular T-shirts and jeans.
These branded urban wear are usually expensive when you decide to sell them retail. It would also be quite a difficult job to find manufacturers that can sell at discounted prices. These manufacturers usually for business sake have retailers and wholesalers who sell exclusively and because of that you might not find one to sell to you directly.
It is then better if you are determined to sell branded urban clothes to look for factory overruns. These are the items that are sold because they are in excess of what wholesalers ordered. Ordering in excess is usually done by wholesalers so that they could get better discounts in bulk buying. But this only depends on the availability of stocks. These overruns still come in different styles, colors and sizes. This is a must for retailers to watch because overruns sell at least 50% lower than the original price.
Also you can avail of cheap urban wear through manufacturer of clothes that are not branded. Most of these goods come from countries where manufacturing costs are lower like China, India, and Vietnam. Designers get sub-contractors from these places and the products are still equally good looking and thus when sold could mean more profit for your clothing business. A good alternative too.

As diversity increases, is black fashion show outdated?
Ebony Fashion Fair is on hiatus, citing founder Eunice Johnson's Jan. 3 death. But the indefinite break also coincides with a fashion world opening its arms to diversity through a growing crop of black models and stylemakers, bringing the relevance of Johnson's show into question.
